Terms & Conditions

1. Rates & Taxes

All rates are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes, including GST, PST, and MRDT, unless otherwise stated. Rates may change without notice. Additional charges may apply for extra guests, services, amenities, or late check-out.

2. Payment, Check-In & Check-Out

Full payment is required at the time of booking or upon check-in unless otherwise arranged. We accept all major credit cards.

Check-in is from 4:00 PM.
Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Early arrivals and late departures are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Standard Cancellations

Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled check-in date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled check-in date will be charged the equivalent of the booking total.

No-Show Policy

Guests who do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and have not cancelled in advance will be charged the full cost of the reservation. The reservation will be cancelled and the room released after 24 hours with no contact.

Non-Refundable Rates

Certain promotional or discounted rates are designated as non-refundable at the time of booking. These reservations cannot be modified or cancelled for a refund under any circumstances. Non-refundable rates are clearly indicated at the time of booking.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to your financial institution’s processing times. Revival English Bay is not responsible for delays caused by banking institutions.

4. Modification Policy

Guests wishing to modify an existing reservation (including changes to dates, room type, or number of guests) should contact us directly as early as possible.

Date changes are subject to availability and the rate applicable to the new dates, which may differ from the original booking rate.
Modifications that shorten a stay may be subject to cancellation fees as outlined in Section 3.
Requests to extend a stay are subject to availability and will be charged at the prevailing rate.
Revival English Bay cannot guarantee modifications to reservations made through third-party booking platforms. Guests must contact the original booking channel to request changes.

5. Security Deposit

A $200 CAD pre-authorization is required upon arrival. This hold will remain on the credit card provided at check-in for the duration of your stay and will be released following departure, subject to a satisfactory room inspection. Processing times may vary by financial institution.

Revival English Bay reserves the right to charge for any damages or incidentals exceeding the deposit amount.

6. Third-Party Bookings

Reservations made through third-party platforms (including but not limited to Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Airbnb, and similar online travel agencies) are subject to the cancellation, refund, and modification policies of those respective platforms, which may differ significantly from the policies outlined in these Terms & Conditions.

Revival English Bay is not responsible for and cannot override the terms applied by third-party booking channels.
For questions regarding cancellations, modifications, or refunds on third-party bookings, guests must contact the platform through which the reservation was made.
All other terms in this document — including conduct, deposits, and property policies — apply equally to guests regardless of the booking channel.

7. Check-In & Identification Requirements

All registered guests are required to present valid government-issued photo identification at the time of check-in. Acceptable forms of ID include a passport, driver’s licence, or provincial/national identity card.

The name on the ID must match the name on the reservation.
A valid credit or debit card in the registered guest’s name is required at check-in for payment and the security deposit pre-authorization.
Revival English Bay reserves the right to decline check-in to any guest who is unable to produce valid identification.
Guests under 19 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Valid identification confirming age may be required.

8. Room Type & Assignment

As a boutique property, Revival English Bay offers a curated selection of uniquely appointed suites. While we make every effort to accommodate specific room requests and preferences, we cannot guarantee assignment to a particular room, suite number, floor, or view.

Reservations are for a room type or category, not a specific room or unit.
Room assignments are made at the hotel’s discretion based on availability at the time of check-in.
Special requests (e.g., high floor, specific view, adjoining rooms) will be noted and accommodated where possible, but cannot be guaranteed.
In the unlikely event that your booked room type is unavailable upon arrival, Revival English Bay will offer a comparable or upgraded room at no additional charge, where available.

9. Minors

Guests under 19 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Valid identification may be required at check-in. The hotel reserves the right to refuse check-in to unaccompanied minors.

10. Accessibility & Special Requests

We aim to accommodate all guests thoughtfully. Please contact us in advance with any accessibility needs or special requests, and we will do our best to assist. Building limitations may apply.

11. Smoke-Free Environment

Revival English Bay is a smoke-free property. Smoking or vaping is not permitted in suites, patios, or common areas.

A $300 CAD fee will apply if this policy is violated.

12. Pet Policy

Pets are not permitted, with the exception of certified service animals.

A $300 CAD fee will apply if a pet is found in the suite.

13. Parking

Parking is available nearby for an additional fee through a third-party provider. Availability is not guaranteed.

Revival English Bay is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or their contents.

14. Guest Conduct

We are a community-minded property. Guests are expected to be respectful of fellow guests and neighbours. Excessive noise, parties, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate removal from the property without refund.

15. Concerns & Dispute Resolution

Should anything fall short of expectations, we encourage guests to notify us during their stay so we can address it promptly.

Any unresolved matters will be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia.

16. Privacy

Guest information is collected solely for reservation, operational, and legal purposes. We do not share personal data with third parties except where required by law. Our full privacy policy is available upon request.

17. Liability

Revival English Bay is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Guests are encouraged to secure valuables appropriately.

The hotel is not liable for injuries resulting from guest negligence or failure to comply with property policies.

18. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, labour disruptions, or government actions.

19. General

These Terms & Conditions apply solely to the registered guest and do not confer rights to any third parties.
If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining terms will remain in effect.
Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to do so in the future.

By confirming a reservation, guests acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Purpose

Messages may include check-in details, access instructions, room readiness updates, and responses to your requests.

Opt-Out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. A final confirmation message will follow.

Privacy

Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Messaging consent data will not be disclosed to any external parties.
